We start with a cognitive skills gap analysis. This is a work sample of the cognitive skills that we address in V-SMART. The analysis only takes about 45 minutes. Then we sit down with the candidate and go over the meaning of his or her gaps and strengths. We develop a strategy for addressing the gaps and making strong areas even stronger. When we are working with a business, we spend time understanding the jobs, the people, and the company’s expectations before conducting individual gap analyses. This helps us develop strategies for attacking and filling gaps.
